Join us in shaping the future of our business through data-driven decision-making, reporting, and visualization. This newly created role is a full-time permanent position within our Digital Transformation team, based in the Mt Wellington (Auckland) office.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Research, analyze & evaluate user and system program needs to ensure a comprehensive understanding of organizational data.
- Translate business needs into effective reporting solutions, dashboards, and enterprise performance management tools.
- Develop reports, dashboards & visualization tools using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI or equivalent software.
- Identify and address technology limitations within existing reporting systems and associated processes.
- Testing, debugging, and correcting errors in data-related programming languages, including SQL and DAX.
- Build analytics platform tools that leverage the data pipeline to provide actionable insights for key business metrics.

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- A tertiary qualification in computer science or business.
- Prior work experience in a BI Developer or Data Engineer role.
- Experience using Snowflake, Power BI or any similar tools.
- Proficiency in data pipeline/ETL, data quality audit dashboard creation, and user experience design principles.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across diverse groups.
