Contract role until November 26

Watercare is embarking on a transformative journey to elevate our people systems and processes, and we're seeking an experienced HRIS Senior Delivery Lead contractor until November 26 to lead the delivery of two Workday modules: Learning, and Help and delivering major configuration updates to the Talent module, as well as implementing a full Competency framework.

This is a pivotal role in our digital transformation programme, focused on delivering the next phase of our HRIS transformation. As the HRIS Senior Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for driving the successful implementation of these modules, ensuring seamless integration with identity management and line-of-business systems. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and other project managers to align dependencies and milestones across interconnected systems. This is a high-impact role requiring strategic oversight, technical fluency, and stakeholder engagement across the organisation.

  • Proven experience delivering HRIS programmes, ideally with Workday.
  • Ideally an understanding of Workday Talent, Learning, and Help modules.
  • Ideally some experience with competency frameworks within enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of identity management systems and integration with HR platforms.
  • Experience managing API testing and coordinating go-live activities across multiple projects.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Excellent programme and project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change, ideally with Internal Employee, Contingent Worker and large Vendor/ Sub Contractor Non Employee workforces
  • Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Referenceable experience in managing HRIS integrations with other enterprise systems (e.g., payroll, finance, CRM, IDAM)
