About the job:

We're looking for an experienced Meters Team Leader to join our team in Auckland.

Assisting the Water Supervisor, you will:

• Lead and support field teams to deliver efficient, safe, high-quality maintenance work
• Mentor, coach, and develop staff, helping them build skill and confidence
• Install, repair and maintain Valves, Hydrants and Meters
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and allocating staff and plant
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, and the public
• Promote best practice in health, safety, and environmental care
• Ensure records, reporting and job documentation are accurate and timely
• Provide leadership support when the Water Supervisor is away

What you'll need:

• A Level 3 Water Serviceperson Qualification or relevant Water Industry Trade Qualification (Level 4 is desirable)
• Experience leading or mentoring small teams
• Strong understanding of 3 Waters networks and solid construction skills
• Confidence with technology and digital reporting
• A commitment to safe working practices
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
