About the Role:

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead and support a growing team of approximately 70 registered and enrolled nurses across the North Island. Based in Central Auckland-based, you'll provide clinical oversight and operational leadership to ensure high-quality care, particularly in wound care management.

Leading a multi-disciplinary team, you'll ensure the clinical and health needs of the wider Auckland community are met. With a vehicle provided, you'll be responsible for essential healthcare services across community, including health assessments and interventions. You'll also play a key role in shaping new models of care and supporting service expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing day-to-day clinical oversight and operational leadership for nursing staff
  • Ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with contract specifications
  • Coaching and developing a team of Clinical Team Leaders
  • Ensuring clinical quality standards and audits are consistently met
  • Supporting the implementation of new care models and digital systems
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare partners across the sector

Skills and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate and leadership experience
  • 5 plus years' experience in Community Nursing, including wound care
  • Full drivers' licence.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience in data manipulation, reporting and supporting system transitions
  • Experience with Salesforce and PMS is an advantage
  • A strong and confident leader at a senior level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing a business unit in a complex service delivery environment
  • Clinical staff assessment, mentoring and supervision experience
  • Ability to implement clinical management and improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of ACC nursing services contracts would be advantageous
