The Retail Duty Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of retail activities at Hobsonville. This position demands a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can oversee various aspects of retail operations while providing exceptional customer service.

This is a part-time position working a minimum of 20 rostered hours per week. Flexibility is key, with availability to work late nights and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily retail operations, including sales, inventory management, and the delivery exceptional customer service
  • Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations
  • Compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012
  • Provide coaching and product training, contributing to the continuous development of the team
  • Monitor financial transactions, POS reconciliations, and prepare daily sales reports

The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong leadership and communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. They should also demonstrate sound decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced retail environment.

What you bring:

  • Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role
  • Must have LCQ and Duty Manager certificate
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of retail staff
  • Previous experience of inventory management processes
  • Excellent communication, customer service and relationship building skills
  • Strategic approach to sales revenue and driving business growth
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings as required
