We have a fixed-term opportunity for 12 months to cover a member of our team on parental leave.

The purpose of this position is a wide range of activities focused on providing both analytical support and adhoc project work to the Commercial Manager – NZ Commercial Finance based in Australia. This is a hybrid-based role working from our Manukau office.

Areas of focus include understanding performance, forecasting and tracking of sales KPI's, trading terms analysis, ad hoc commercial and process improvement initiatives, and commercial analysis and guidance.

Responsibilities further include involvement in strategic work streams and projects as requested.

You're someone who enjoys problem-solving, navigating ambiguity, and approaching challenges with a positive mindset. You thrive in a close-knit team within a global organisation, where you can work autonomously while partnering with Sales and other cross-functional teams.

You naturally gravitate towards variance analysis and working with numbers, and you bring several years of experience in commercial accounting and finance. You're passionate about leveraging tools like Power BI, and experience with SAP S4 and BPC would be a strong advantage.

To thrive in this role, you'll bring:

• Experience in Financial Reporting & Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting
• Expertise in generating value-added insights to identify financial opportunities and risks
• A high level of analytical competency, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
• Experience in Retail, FMCG, or Manufacturing environments
