He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We are seeking enthusiastic Chefs to join our team at St Cuthebert College in Epsom, Auckland. In this role, you'll prepare, cook, and serve high-quality meals that meet the dietary and cultural needs of students and staff. You'll play a key part in maintaining food safety standards, supporting kitchen operations, and contributing to a positive dining experience. This is a Casual Position where hours of work are "as and when" required basis upon business needs.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals including meat, seafood, vegetables, and baked goods to high standards.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, safety, and cleanliness throughout service.
• Receive, store, and rotate supplies while assisting with stock control and ordering.
• Develop menus that cater to special dietary and cultural requirements.
• Coach and support team members while working collaboratively with colleagues and customers.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

• Holds an NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery or equivalent, with experience in a similar role.
• A team player with strong communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Able to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism and positivity.
• Physically fit, reliable, and committed to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Has Police Clearance and ideally experience as a pastry chef.
