About the role:

As the Uniform Shop Manager, you will oversee all aspects of Black Watch House, including purchasing, inventory, retail operations and customer service. You will work closely with families, students, staff and suppliers to ensure a smooth and professional retail experience that reflects the standards and values of the College.

This role suits someone who is confident in retail leadership, highly organised and comfortable managing a broad operational portfolio. You will need strong communication skills, experience with inventory and POS systems, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service across the College community.

Key responsibilities and skills:

  • Can manage daily retail operations with initiative and attention to detail.
  • Has proven experience with purchasing, stock control and supplier management.
  • Is proficient with POS systems, inventory software and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Can manage budgets and financial processes confidently.
  • Has strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Can build positive relationships with students, families, staff and external suppliers.
