Transactional Services Manager

A great opportunity has opened for an experienced finance professional to step into a six-month contract leading a well-established transactional finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys steady operational leadership, clear responsibilities, and the satisfaction of keeping critical business functions running seamlessly.

About the Role As the Transactional Services Manager, you will oversee a team of nine across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control and Lease Administration. Your key responsibility is ensuring accurate, efficient and timely financial processing, while maintaining best-practice controls and supporting your team to deliver consistent day-to-day service to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all BAU transactional finance operations, including AP, AR, credit control, purchasing and credit card management
- Ensure timely and accurate supplier payments, tenant invoicing and statutory obligations
- Maintain strong internal controls, robust financial processes and appropriate segregation of duties
- Act as a trusted business partner, delivering responsive and accurate financial services
- Participate in debtor management meetings and oversee reporting on tenant debt levels
- Manage lease-related processes across activation, renewals, rent adjustments, surrenders and recharges
- Provide clear leadership, coaching and support to a team of nine
- Foster a team culture centred on collaboration, wellbeing, accountability and high performance
- Support ongoing training and capability development within the team and wider business
- Uphold health, safety and wellbeing practices, ensuring a safe and positive environment
