Marcelo & Co has been a trusted name in Auckland hairdressing for more than 20 years, backed by over 40 years of international experience.

Located on a landmark CBD corner with seven on-site car parks, our salon is known for stability, precision and connection. We've owned our gorgeous, bright and busy salon for over a decade.

Independent Contractor – from 50% split

Perfect for stylists who want flexibility while staying connected to a busy, supportive salon.

You'll enjoy:

• Invoice weekly, claim expenses and run your business your way

You'll need:


• 3+ years' floor experience in cutting and coloring


• Confidence to retain and grow a client base


• Eligibility to operate as self-employed in New Zealand

Rent-a-Chair – from $125 per day (multi-day packages available)

Ideal for established stylists seeking a premium space to host their clientele.

You'll enjoy:


• Luxurious workstation with natural light and full salon facilities


• Shared basin, reception and refreshments


• Seven on-site car parks for your clients


• Freedom to manage your own business in a high-end environment

You'll need:


• Established clientele


• NZ business registration and insurance

Salaried Stylist – $35+ p/h plus uncapped bonuses

Best for stylists seeking long-term growth with guaranteed income.

You'll enjoy:


• The higher of your hourly rate or weekly commission


• 10 % retail commission and staff discounts


• Ongoing training and mentorship


• Leadership and education pathways

You'll need:


• Level 4 NZ Certificate in Hairdressing (or equivalent)


• 5+ years' experience in cutting and coloring


• A genuine passion for people, teamwork and beautiful results
