About The Role
We're looking for a Head of AI and ML within our Data, Analytics & AI team. We are focused on driving business value by unlocking the potential of ML, AI and Agentic AI systems to deliver data products and solutions that support Les Mills' mission of creating a fitter planet.
Skills And Experience You'll Need
You have a proven track record of driving AI transformation across an organisation—translating business needs into technical strategy and ensuring measurable business impact through innovative, robust AI and ML solutions. You are an experienced leader, skilled at building, mentoring, and inspiring high-performing teams of engineers and data scientists to deliver at scale. Your background includes architecting and delivering advanced solutions, including agentic AI systems, making strategic build, buy, or partner decisions, and embedding responsible, ethical AI practices throughout the organisation.
You Will Ideally Need Experience In The Following
- Demonstrated ability to set and deliver an enterprise-wide AI and ML strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and measurable value across multiple functions.
- Deep technical expertise in designing, building, and deploying scalable AI and ML solutions—including agentic AI systems—with hands-on experience in modern frameworks, MLOps, and cloud platforms.
- Experience establishing and upholding ethical, transparent, and responsible AI practices, embedding governance and compliance into every stage of the AI and ML lifecycle (including monitoring, retraining, and retirement).
- Proven track record in building, leading, and mentoring high-performing teams of AI, data science, and ML engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Skilled at engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into strategic business outcomes and championing AI adoption across the organisation.
