What You'll Be Doing

As a Software Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining KonnectNet software in line with our coding standards and best practices. You'll work closely with other developers, testers, and product owners to deliver reliable, secure, and high-quality solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurately estimating work and meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Staying current with new tools, technologies, and development practices.
  • Maintaining up-to-date technical documentation.

What We're Looking For

You're an adaptable developer who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, solves problems with creativity and precision, and has a strong focus on quality.

You will bring:

  • Experienced in the .NET Ecosystem (C#, Azure, .NET libraries).
  • Experienced in modern front-end frameworks (e.g. React, Angular).
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly SQL Server or Azure SQL.
  • Experience working with modern development architectures, including Azure Cloud, and familiarity with commonly used frameworks, tools, and libraries.
  • Good understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly.
  • Permanent work rights in New Zealand.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience in implementing CI/CD workflows using YAML pipelines with tools like Bitbucket Pipelines or Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of healthcare software or the healthcare domain.

  • A flexible, hybrid working environment.
  • A supportive and inclusive team culture.
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Paid birthday leave.
  • Sick leave from Day 1.
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare technology space.
