Role Overview

We are seeking a
Senior Designer
to join our fast-paced, dynamic team. This role requires a
highly skilled designer
who can translate architectural and structural drawings into
buildable, accurate fabrication designs
, manage multiple projects, and coordinate effectively with fabrication teams and site personnel.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using
    SolidWorks
    (Inventor experience advantageous).
  • Interpreting architectural and structural drawings to identify
    key dimensions and critical points
    .
  • Conducting
    site measurements
    and integrating as-built conditions into designs.
  • Coordinating closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure constructability.
  • Adapting to a variety of project types, from
    small bespoke works to large-scale installations
    .
  • Ensuring high standards, accuracy, and efficiency in a
    fast-moving work environment
    .

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum
    5+ years' experience
    in metal fabrication or construction design.
  • Proficient in
    SolidWorks
    ; knowledge of Autodesk Inventor advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of
    sheet metal, weldments, and structural steel detailing
    .
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing work types and requirements.
