Looking for full time Retail Assistance for busy business in Hamilton, who will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining store presentation, and supporting daily retail operations. This role ensures customers have a positive shopping experience by assisting with product selection, handling transactions, and keeping the store clean and well-stocked.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide product information and recommendations to meet customer needs.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for cash, card, and digital transactions.
  • Replenish stock and ensure displays are neat, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in all areas of the store.
  • Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges in line with company policies.
  • Support stock control processes, including deliveries and inventory checks.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Adhere to health, safety, and security procedures at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred (but not essential).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic numeracy and computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
