We're looking for someone who isn't just an excavator operator, but someone who can turn their hand to most things. 

If you can run a loader, jump in a skid steer or a dozer, you're the kind of person we are looking for.

If you've got your class 2, 4 (or 5), or can operate a grader, that's definitely an advantage. 

This role will give you plenty of variety and build on your existing skillsets to advance your career.

You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and and police check.

What you will be doing:

  • Working on residential, commercial or rural sites

  • Working in machines and on the ground when required. 

  • Operating under OH&S standards

What you will bring to the table:

  • NZ Citizenship or Residency

  • Class 1 Licence minimum with WTR endorsements

  • Based in Christchurch or surrounds - only those already local will be considered, unless there are exceptional circumstances

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good level of physical fitness

  • Good awareness of health and safety

  • Can pass a pre-employment Drug Screening test

  • A sense of humour never goes amiss

  • A team player, who is able to work unsupervised to a high standard
