Our clients are well known within the scrap metal recycling industry, and with a growing pipeline of work they are looking for somebody to join their team as an all-rounder based in the yard. This is the perfect role for somebody entry level with the interest to stay and learn long term, gaining licenses and full training along the way. 

About the role: 

  • Yardmen duties 
  • Manage incoming and outgoing metal deliveries
  • Customer interactions 
  • Utilizing machinery to load and unload container and shredders
  • Full training provided on all machinery  

Our ideal candidate 

  • Must have a full class 1 license 
  • Ability to pass a drug test 
  • Experience operating a senboggen machine is highly advantageous - but not essential 
  • Fit and able - this role involves laboring around the yard 
  • Have own reliable transport 
  • Available to work Monday-Friday, and a rotating monthly Saturday shift 
  • Is committed to a long term role, interested in upskilling and training 
  • Available to start immediatley
