Join us as a specialist operator in our sealing team in Christchurch
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join our Christchurch based sealing team as a specialist operator. In this role, you will operate machinery and perform labouring tasks to help deliver work for our customers safely, on time and to the highest quality standard.
If you have a willingness to learn and have a passion for operating machinery, we can help provide the training necessary to get you up to scratch.
In addition to the above you will:
- Operate various plant used for sealing works, such as the Bitumen Sprayer and Roller
- Assist in the execution of the sealing works, as required by the Contract Specifications applicable
- Maintain open communication with other crew members and management
- Ensure all plant and work sites are kept in a safe and tidy condition

We're looking for someone with:
- Availability to work away from home and on shift
- Full Class 2 licence (Class 4 and WTR endorsements are advantageous)
- Previous bitumen and emulsion handling experience is advantageous
- Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach to Health and Safety - it's our #1 priority
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills
- A positive attitude and most importantly, a good sense of humour
