This is an exciting chance to step into an 8-month fixed-term Maternity Leave Cover as a Marketing & Communications Manager, with flexibility on the start or finish date for the right candidate.
You'll play a key role in bringing Harbour's vision to life by creating and delivering engaging multi-channel content and producing high-impact internal and external investment communications. You'll also contribute to brand management, marketing initiatives, and business development efforts across the organisation. As our clients span across charities, iwi, superannuation funds, financial advisers and individual investors, this role covers both B2C and B2B marketing. This role is a part of our high performing Marketing & Communications team.

Key Responsibilities | Ngā Kawenga Mahi
- Support brand development via PR, media, advertising and social/digital channels.
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral, presentations, RFPs, pitch documents, and client due diligence responses.
- Plan and deliver client communications, including regulatory and "always-on" activity and one-off projects.
- Create and execute communications on a variety of topics including investment research, product changes and product launches.
- Support customer communications for BNZ KiwiSaver, YouWealth and Private Bank Schemes, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate data handling.
- Organise webinars and in-person events, engaging with internal teams and external partners.
- Collaborate on our CRM, understanding our marketing lists and automations
- Manage time-critical projects end-to-end to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

Attributes and Skills:
- Strong planning, project management, and organisational skills, exceptional at managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to create high-quality content across channels.
- Ability to take complex concepts and explain them clearly for a variety of audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management, relationship building, and ability to influence.
- Ability to drive innovation, continuous improvement, and meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Collaborative team player who values diverse perspectives and delivers high standards of performance.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 3+ years' experience in communications and/or marketing – bonus if that is in financial services.
- Interest in wealth management, funds management, and investment markets.
- Experience and comfort with technology and digital tools (e.g., Website CMS, CRM and EDM tools, Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Cloud)
- Comfortable working within a strict regulatory framework, complying with stringent rules and compliance standards.
