About Us

Oaklynn is a vibrant and progressive specialist school dedicated to supporting students with high and very high ORS funding. Our students present with a range of complex communication, learning, and behavioural needs, with a majority having a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are a community built on strong social justice values and an unwavering commitment to interprofessional practice.

The Opportunity

As a key member of our dynamic therapy team, you will be at the forefront of championing communication for our students. You will have the autonomy to develop and implement a range of therapeutic approaches, with a significant focus on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). This role is perfect for a therapist who is passionate, creative, and eager to grow in a specialized environment.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an enthusiastic and emotionally resilient individual who thrives in a team environment.

You will need to have:

  • A qualification as a Speech Language Therapist
  • Eligibility for NZSTA membership
  • A valid and current driver's licence
