Over the past 20+ years Domett has become well recognised for its premium quality builds and has grown into a leading Australasian truck body & trailer manufacturer specialising in custom designed and built transport units.

Our truck and trailer units are customised for a wide variety of applications and used across a large range of industries, from small businesses to national fleets.

We understand what makes a truck body and trailer great and pride ourselves on our ability to deliver a lightweight unit that provides optimal performance and handling.

The Opportunity:

You will play a key role in reporting on the company's financial position and supporting effective business decisions. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, as the Company Accountant you will be responsible for ongoing accounting management, month-end processing, and day-to-day supervision of general accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing and month- end close-off.

· Calculate, file, and pay GST and other statutory returns.

· Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.

· Maintain the Fixed Assets Register and manage inventory in the ERP system.

· Assist with financial analysis, cash flow reporting, and stock takes.

· Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for the CEO and Executive Team.

· Investigate variances between budget and actual figures.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

· Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About you:

· Tertiary qualification in accounting or relevant business degree.

· years accounting experience (manufacturing environment and job costing experience desirable).

· Understanding of general taxation requirements.

· Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero) and ERP systems.

· High computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).

· Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Commitment to providing quality service and continuous professional development.
