We're on the lookout for a Personal Assistant with Health & Safety interest who's ready to be the right hand to our Director and the driving force behind bringing his ideas, notes, and paperwork into the digital world. This role is all about translation — taking what's in his head and on his notepad and bringing it to life digitally so our business runs like clockwork.

This is a rare hybrid position that blends PA precision with Health & Safety purpose — ideal for someone who's organised, tech-savvy, and ready to grow their career in construction.

What you'll do

You'll operate across two key areas — administration excellence and H&S coordination — with the shared goal of helping the Director and Senior H&S Manager stay one step ahead.

1. Director Support

  • Act as the Director's right hand — managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and keeping communication flowing
  • Draft correspondence, take meeting notes, and turn them into clear actions or digital records
  • Organise and maintain both digital and physical documentation, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
  • Support business-wide coordination, project scheduling, and document management — the literal bridge between paper and computer
  • Typing speed and accuracy will be tested.

2. Health & Safety Support

  • Work closely with the H&S Manager to maintain company-wide compliance
  • Review Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs) and ensure documentation meets internal and client standards
  • Coordinate inductions, update training and competency records, and follow up on corrective actions
  • Support safety campaigns, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives across teams
  • Run Health and Safety Committee meetings
  • And ensure all H&S coordination is going smoothly.

Who we're looking for

  • You have completed (or are completing) formal Health & Safety studies or have an interest training
  • You're detail-driven, methodical, and confident managing both data and people
  • You thrive on structure, accuracy, and follow-through — and love turning chaos into order
  • You're proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working directly with senior leaders
  • Previous experience in administration, coordination, or PA work will serve you well; construction familiarity is a bonus
