Claymark Group Limited Partnership is New Zealand's largest manufacturer and exporter of premium pine products made from sustainably managed radiata pine plantations in New Zealand's central North Island.

Employing over 660 employees across six sites, Claymark is experiencing growth and expansion under new ownership.

We have a great opportunity in our new treatment plant as Treatment Operator in our Thames dry mill site. Ideally candidates will have previous experience in the Timber Remanufacturing Industry but experience in other fields could be quite valid.

Day Shift – Monday to Thursday, 5am to 3.30pm, Friday 5am to 11am – Total 45.5 hours

Key functions and duties:


• Follow chemical batching procedures as per requirements


• Monitor and quality check to ensure treatment uptake is to product specification


• Ensure machines are set correctly that that uptakes are to plan


• Ensure chemical reconciliations are correct and balanced


• Ensure that operations are undertaken in compliance with all Company Health & Safety policies and procedures

Personal Specifications


• Eye for detail


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Experience in Treatment plants is advantageous


• Mechanical Aptitude


• Good levels of physical fitness and stamina.


• Strong mathematical aptitude with good documentation and paperwork skills


• Forklift License preferred
