Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

As a Rigging & Maintenance Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering professional maintenance services that keep our facilities operating at their best. Working within our Facility Services team, you'll assist with rigging and general maintenance tasks across our large and complex site. This role requires flexibility, including participation in an after-hours on-call roster, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting rigging and maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and hazard reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with SkyCity's Health and Safety policies.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless service.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is over 20 years of age with a clean criminal record.
  • Has strong verbal and written English skills.
  • Is physically fit and able to work safely at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Demonstrates a professional attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to health and safety.
  • Can work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Shows cultural awareness and respect for diversity.

Preferred experience:

  • Previous work at height experience and knowledge of safety practices.
