Right now, we're working with one of the most successful premium dealerships in Auckland, and they're on the hunt for a diagnostic-level technician to join their busy, high-performing service team.

This role isn't for just anyone - we're looking for the one the rest of the workshop relies on. If you're brand-trained, confident with complex diagnostics (especially in late-model or electric platforms), and you've earned your stripes as the go-to tech in your team - keep reading.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Taking charge of advanced diagnostics, fault-finding, and problem-solving
  • Working with the latest factory tools and systems to deliver top-quality results
  • Collaborating with a sharp, efficient team to get vehicles back on the road quickly and accurately
  • Keeping on top of technical updates and ongoing training
  • Supporting less experienced techs with your know-how and cool-headed approach
  • Staying customer-focused and documentation-savvy - attention to detail matters here

You're Someone Who:

  • Has 5+ years under the bonnet and is confident working on premium or European vehicles
  • Holds a trade qualification and preferably some OEM or EV-specific training
  • Loves a technical challenge and thrives on solving the jobs others can't
  • Knows your way around diagnostic platforms and isn't afraid to dig deep to get answers
  • Brings a calm, professional presence to the workshop
  • Has a full NZ driver's licence and a great attitude
