About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the sales team at George Street Kitchen Limited as a Sales Representative. Working in our bustling office in Mount Eden, Auckland, you will be responsible for driving new business and expanding our customer base. As a full-time position, you will play a key role in the company's growth and development.

What you'll be doing

  1. Actively prospecting and generating new leads through outreach, networking and referrals
  2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing customers
  3. Understanding customer needs and proposing tailored solutions
  4. Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals
  5. Negotiating contract terms and closing sales
  6. Providing excellent customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction
  7. Collaborating with the wider sales and marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  8. Accurately tracking and reporting on sales activity and performance

What we're looking for

  1. Proven track record in new business development, ideally within the food and beverage industry
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
  3. Highly motivated and target-driven, with a passion for sales and a competitive spirit
  4. Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to handle objections
  5. Proficient in using MYOB and Upstock systems and sales reporting tools
  6. Degree in sales, marketing or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience (not necessary)
