About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber to join our thriving team at AP Plumbing & Gasfitting Ltd' in Whanganui, Central Manawatu & Wellington. As a Commercial Plumber, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth installation of plumbing systems for our commercial clients. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects in the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Installing, and upgrading plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Interpreting drawings , and technical specifications to complete plumbing work
  • Coordinating with other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion
  • Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and procedures
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our commercial clients
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work performed

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualifications in Plumbing, Gasfitting & Drain laying
  • Extensive experience as a Commercial Plumber, with a minimum of 5 years in the industry
  • A strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
  • A commitment to safety and a track record of working safely on construction sites
