About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tiler to join our team in Christchurch. This role offers multiple tiling opportunities, including residential, commercial, and architectural projects. You will be a key part of our skilled construction team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality finishes in homes, offices, and other buildings.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and specifications to understand project requirements
  • Preparing surfaces for tiling, including cleaning, leveling, and waterproofing
  • Cutting, laying, and grouting tiles on walls, floors, and other surfaces according to project specifications
  • Installing various types of tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, and natural stone
  • Repairing and maintaining existing tiled surfaces as required
  • Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and painters, to ensure seamless project completion
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant tiling experience (qualification not compulsory, but skillset must meet trade standard)
  • Proficiency with tiling tools, adhesives, and cutting equipment
  • Proven track record of high-quality tiling work in residential and commercial projects
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
