We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager
to step into a 3-4 month contract role with one of New Zealand's leading media organisations. This is a hands-on opportunity to lead a capable finance team through a busy period, while the role is being scoped for permanent recruitment. Focus on managing financial reporting, compliance, tax, cashflow etc, while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

What you'll be doing

You'll lead Financial and Revenue Accounting, ensuring accurate statutory and management reporting, smooth month-end and half-year close. You'll also be responsible for some direct taxation, cashflow and GL integrity, while supporting the finance leaders with technical accounting and project work.

What you'll bring
You're a qualified accountant (CA or equivalent) with 5+ years of financial management experience - ideally within a large or complex organisation. You're technically sharp, calm under pressure, happy to be hands on and confident navigating IFRS requirements and audit processes.
