We are seeking experienced Chefs to join a large and fast-paced commercial kitchen preparing high-volume meals for airline catering in South Auckland. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in structured kitchen environments and take pride in delivering consistent, high-quality results.

About the Role

As part of a large-scale food production kitchen, you will contribute to multiple stages of meal preparation. Depending on your experience, your day may involve cooking, preparing ingredients, portioning meals, assembling dishes, packing items, and supporting daily kitchen operations.

This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility with working days and hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays to meet operational demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and support meal production according to set recipes and standards
  • Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across high-volume batches
  • Operate across multiple kitchen stations, supporting various production lines
  • Follow strict HACCP, hygiene, allergen, and food safety procedures
  • Conduct temperature checks and ensure proper food storage and documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse kitchen team to meet daily production targets

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in Malaysian cuisine is an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and batch preparation
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and structured kitchen setting
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team contributor
  • Culinary qualification is preferred but not required
