As our project portfolio expands, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Procurement Specialist to support procurement of electrical materials, equipment, and subcontracted services across solar, substation, and BESS projects in Australia and New Zealand. This role ensures procurement aligns with project timelines, budgets, and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the procurement of electrical equipment, materials, and subcontracted services for utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
  • Contribute to the tendering and procurement process, including preparing RFQs, analysing supplier proposals, and assisting with purchase orders.
  • Work closely with project management, engineering, construction, and commercial teams to coordinate procurement activities with project timelines and technical requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring supplier performance to help ensure quality, delivery, and safety standards are maintained.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to developing long-term supplier relationships and sourcing strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–5 years' experience in electrical procurement within EPC, subcontractor, or construction environments.
  • Estimating experience within Electrical works
  • Experience supporting projects from tender through to construction delivery.
  • Knowledge of LV, MV, and HV electrical systems and materials.
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and procurement reporting.
  • Renewable energy project experience is highly desirable.
