This role sits within our Studio X team, forming part of the global marketing partnership between WPP and a major FMCG brand. The partnership covers more than 200 countries and territories where the brand operates.
This role is focused on New Zealand, part of the Asia-Pacific region. This is a hybrid role with time spent in the office, WFH and with the expectation to collaborate on site with clients and teammates for one to two days per week.
YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
As a community manager, you will play a critical role in the development and delivery of effective social and influencer campaigns. You will be responsible for creating meaningful experiences for audiences. You'll use your diverse skills to create impactful communities on social.
You will liaise with a wider regional team in Australia and Asia to identify and repurpose content, creative and engagement tactics from global for local market in ASP.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work alongside a creative team (based in Singapore and Australia) to deliver content that helps build engagement. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for planned content responding to calendar moments.
- Build a weekly conversation calendar and implement to engage consumers/audience across brands in-market.
- Be a hands-on implementation champion, able to come up with quick ideas to engage fans on social.
- Be a self-motivated, savvy social platform expert who delivers on real-time engagement across social platforms
- Conduct reporting on engagement on local channels and campaign activity.
- Deliver community 'health' reports.
- Attend events to capture social content.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/CAPABILITIES
- You'll have experience working across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X, with a particular expertise in social calendar management, publishing and community management.
- You will be a social expert with deep knowledge of social platforms and the ability to create weekly content calendars (specifically from an engagement perspective) for Australia and New Zealand.
- Experience leveraging social publishing tools/platforms (such as Sprinklr) and a confident writing ability.
- Good organisational and time management skills with a proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate and has a genuine interest in people (i.e., consumers/ fans) to build meaningful relationships & conversations with consumers in social platforms.
- Active user of social platforms, preferably with a finger on the pulse of the latest trends/happenings.
- Have a creative mindset and be able to work together with the team to bring an idea to life for their specific markets.
