Role Details:

Based at our Visy Board plant in Wiri, Auckland, this role reports directly to the Sales Centre Manager and plays a vital part in supporting our growing customer base across New Zealand.

As a Sales Support professional, you'll be the link between our customers and the wider business - coordinating quotes, samples, and approvals, while ensuring every interaction reflects Visy's reputation for service and reliability. You'll work closely with Account Managers to help convert new business, manage telesales accounts, and keep our sales operations running smoothly. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and wants to grow within a leading manufacturing business.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to Account Managers.
  • Manage customer set-up, contact updates, and data accuracy in Velocity and VRM systems.
  • Coordinate end-to-end quote processes - preparing samples, proofs, and approvals for presentation.
  • Handle customer queries, rejected quotes, and follow-ups to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Manage a telesales customer base, addressing leads, preparing quotes, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication between sales, design, and customer service teams.
  • Support reporting requirements including sales vs budget and performance tracking.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and the customer experience.

What You Will Bring:

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales support, or a similar role.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills; intermediate Microsoft Word proficiency.
  • Excellent time management, organisation, and communication skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience using CRM or ERP systems (advantageous).
