About the role

Coffee366 Ltd., a leading café in the heart of Hobsonville, is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our valued customers. This is a full-time position based in our centrally located café in Hobsonville.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and lead the kitchen team, providing guidance, mentorship and training to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation
  2. Develop and implement innovative, high-quality Morden Asia Fusion menus that showcase your culinary expertise and cater to the diverse preferences of our customers
  3. Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
  4. Manage kitchen inventory, ordering and budgeting to optimise efficiency and profitability
  5. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment in the kitchen, promoting teamwork and a shared commitment to excellence
  6. Continuously seek opportunities to improve kitchen operations and enhance the overall dining experience for our guests

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Head Chef or in a senior culinary role within the hospitality industry
  2. Proven experience in Modern Asia Fusion cuisine.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your kitchen staff
  3. Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in commercial kitchen operations
  4. Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
  5. Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  6. Able to work evening shifts and weekends
