Office Administration

Northland School is looking for an office administrator to support visitors, students and staff in our friendly school. This is a permanent part time position of 10-12 hours per week in term time only. You will be part of the support staff team who work together to ensure our school office runs efficiently.
The hours will be Wednesday 8:30-3:15 pm, Friday 10-3:15 pm. Applications close on Wednesday 29th October with the preferred candidate confirmed by 14th November, a start date can be negotiated with training during November.
Key duties include:
- Be the first point of contact for visitors and parents
- Day to day efficient operation of the school office
- Assist with first aid when required and support students
- Student Attendance
Personal Attributes:
- Enthusiastic
- Discretion and empathy
- Ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a team
- Responsible and able to use Initiative
- Competent with IT processes including Google docs, Gmail, Excel
- Clear organisation and planning skills
- The ability to multi-task and work well in an open plan office and remain calm under pressure
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to train
The salary range will be $26.45- $28.89 Grade 2 on Support Staff in Schools Collective agreement. Applications close 29 October 2025.
