The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll take ownership of the commissioning, optimization, maintenance, and repair of specialized machinery across the country. You will deliver exceptional on-site and remote technical support to customers, ensuring maximum uptime and performance of equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving issues, providing training to customers on machine operation, collaborating with engineering teams, and preparing detailed service reports. Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission, optimise, maintain, and repair technical machines across the region.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.
  • Deliver training to customers on the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
  • Work closely with local and international engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Prepare detailed service reports and communicate updates to managers on a regular basis.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.
  • Continuously strive to achieve the highest level of equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on new products, technologies, and industry best practices.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you will have relevant qualifications in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering (degree or trade equivalent). You possess strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in machinery maintenance or industrial automation as a bonus. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you'll need to explain complex technical matters to diverse audiences. A valid driver's licence and working rights are required, alongside the flexibility to travel locally and internationally. You'll have a proactive, independent approach, thrive under pressure, and align with a culture focused on customer satisfaction and performance optimization.
