About the role

As our Provider Procurement Specialist, you will design and deliver sustainable, outcome-focused procurement and contracting strategies that strengthen provider relationships, enhance affordability and quality, and drive improved member health outcomes across the healthcare ecosystem.

You'll utilise exceptional relationship skills to champion initiatives that foster collaboration and shared accountability with healthcare providers. Leveraging market intelligence, you'll drive improvements in clinical quality, safety, equity, and member experience, through embedment of performance-based clauses and outcome measures, ensuring contracts remain effective and aligned with organisational goals.

About You

You're a strategic and results-driven professional who brings a strong mix of commercial insight, values-alignment, and collaboration to every challenge.

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in healthcare procurement
  • At least 10 years' experience in procurement and contract management within complex environments
  • Strong commercial acumen and advanced negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Proven strategic leadership, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive meaningful change and business outcomes
  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to make informed, data-driven decisions
  • Demonstrated success in managing external relationships and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
