Are you ready to get hands-on site experience on a major civil project? We're looking for a Civil Engineering Graduate / Junior Site Engineer to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term basis, supporting a large project in the Waikato.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer keen to build practical site experience, working closely with an experienced Site Engineer and Project Manager, particularly around QA and site engineering support.

Key Responsibilities

In this site-based support role, you will assist with:

  • Supporting the Site Engineer and Project Manager to ensure project activities are delivered accurately on time and to a high standard
  • Site-based QA, documentation and other Site Engineering tasks
  • Assisting with establishing and recording field testing methods
  • Working alongside site crews to support day-to-day construction activities
  • Providing administrative and reporting support to the project team

About You

You will have a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (or be close to completion), along with a practical, can-do attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed.

You'll also bring:

  • Strong reporting and documentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A positive, down-to-earth approach and a good sense of humour
