Mō te tūnga | About our Role:
You'll primarily be assisting with accurate and timely payroll processing within a complex payroll environment, supporting our experienced team. You'll also provide HR administrative assistance. Key tasks include:
- Maintaining accurate and confidential payroll records
- Responding to manager and colleague employee queries in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide high-quality administrative assistance to ensure smooth payroll and HR operations
- Ensure compliance with NZ payroll and HR legislation, including the Holidays Act.
- Support HR teams with time & attendance systems and reporting.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Essential skills/experience for the role:
You will be customer focussed and have some experience with payroll. You will also preferably have experience with time and attendance software. Irrespective of your experience, you will have:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a diverse workforce.
- Demonstrate excellent concentration and attention to detail skills.
- Work autonomously and flexibly.
- Able to problem-solve, handle interruptions, and multiple deadlines.
- Switch tasks to prioritise urgent activities.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of NZ legislation (ERA, Holidays Act) is an advantage.
