Night Auditor

Join Novotel Queenstown Lakeside and be part of a dynamic Front Office team delivering exceptional guest experiences around the clock. We're seeking a motivated Night Auditor to oversee the hotel's overnight operations and ensure all daily transactions are balanced with precision.

The Night Auditor is responsible for managing the property during overnight hours, ensuring smooth front-office operations, guest safety and satisfaction, and accurate end-of-day financial reporting. Acting as the manager on duty, you will coordinate with all departments, uphold brand standards, and maintain the highest level of service.

• Supervise front office operations during the night shift and act as the hotel representative on duty.
• Balance and audit all daily transactions from the front office, food & beverage, and other outlets.
• Prepare and reconcile financial reports, ensuring accuracy of guest accounts and revenue postings.
• Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest safety, confidentiality, and property integrity.
• Provide professional, efficient, and friendly service to all guests, handling any complaints or issues promptly.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to meet operational and guest needs.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, cash-handling, and health & safety procedures.
• Support and mentor overnight team members in line with company values and service culture.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hotel front office or related role.
• Knowledge with Opera Cloud and MS Excel; understanding of basic accounting procedures will be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on guest service.
• Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions overnight.
• Understanding of hotel operations, revenue, and reporting processes.
