About the Role:

We are looking for a
Senior Business Analyst
with deep expertise in the
insurance domain
and hands-on experience delivering
vendor pricing integration projects
. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business, vendor, and technical teams, driving the design and delivery of integration solutions that optimize pricing and underwriting capabilities across the organization.

This role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and proven experience working in
complex integration environments
within insurance platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end
    business analysis function
    for vendor pricing integration initiatives across policy and underwriting systems.
  • Engage with product owners, actuaries, pricing analysts, and vendor partners to define integration scope, business logic, and technical requirements.
  • Develop detailed
    business and functional requirements
    , user stories, and interface specifications for pricing/rating integration.
  • Drive
    data mapping and transformation design
    between internal systems and vendor pricing engines.
  • Define and validate pricing workflows, data inputs/outputs, and rating algorithms.
  • Collaborate closely with
    Solution Architects
    and
    Integration Engineers
    to ensure seamless API integration and data exchange.
  • Coordinate and facilitate
    requirements workshops, walkthroughs, and UAT sessions
    with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead
    impact analysis
    and ensure alignment with compliance, regulatory, and data protection standards.
  • Prepare high-quality documentation – including
    BRDs, FRDs, process maps, data dictionaries, and traceability matrices
    .
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior BAs on the project team.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years
    of experience as a
    Business Analyst
    in the
    insurance industry
    (general, life, or health).
  • Demonstrated experience leading
    vendor pricing or rating engine integration projects
    (e.g., Duck Creek, Earnix, Guidewire, Sapiens, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of
    insurance pricing, rating, underwriting, and policy administration processes
    .
  • Strong experience working with
    API integrations, data mapping, and third-party data flows
    .
  • Proven ability to work in
    Agile delivery environments
    , defining epics, features, and user stories in tools like
    Jira and Confluence
    .
  • Experience working with
    cross-functional teams
    including actuaries, solution architects, developers, and testers.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of
    data validation, transformation, and reconciliation processes
    (SQL or similar tools desirable).
