About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic and growing team at Denham Bramwell. This is a full-time role is based in our Manukau office. This role will be responsible for providing crucial accounting and administrative support to our finance team.

What you'll be doing

  • Processing receipts and payments on Affinity practice management system
  • Setting up payments on Westpac banking platform
  • Preparing financial reports and statements
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Providing customer service and responding to inquiries
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in an account's assistant role, ideally within a law firm
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
  • Proficiency in using Affinity practice management software and MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to providing excellent service to the team and to the clients
  • Knowledge of AML is desirable
