This is a full-time Senior Compressor Technician position at Finnco Compressors' head office in Rotorua. As Senior Compressor Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the compressors that are integral to our client's operations. Your expertise and dedication will help ensure we efficiently meet the needs of our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Diagnose, service and repair industrial air compressors, dryers, filtration and auxiliary equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on compressors to minimise downtime
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex compressor issues
  • Assist with the installation of new compressor units and pipe work
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers as needed

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of trade experience
  • Strong knowledge of industrial air compressor systems and components
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A valid driver's licence
