We're an RICS-regulated firm, and we're on the hunt for two Graduate Building Surveyors ready to jump in and make an impact. This is a full-time permanent role, 40 hours/week, $67,000 to 72,000 per annum.

What You'll Do

No two days will be the same. As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you'll get stuck into:

  • Hands-on building surveys, inspections, and defect diagnostics.
  • Writing clear, professional reports that make a difference.
  • Supporting senior surveyors with contract administration and on-site monitoring.
  • Assist in specification and design of remedial and refurbishment projects on some of Auckland's most iconic buildings.
  • Working alongside authorities to understand how statutory approvals happen in practice.
  • Getting involved in asset and building maintenance management.
  • Contributing to proposals and tenders that bring new opportunities to the team.
  • Collaborating with engineers, architects, and remediation specialists on real-world projects.

What We're Looking For

We're not expecting you to know everything – we'll teach you. What we do want is:

  • A diploma in Building Surveying
  • Enthusiasm to grow your skills and work towards RICS or NZIBS membership (we'll back you all the way).
  • Curiosity to learn about New Zealand Building Codes, Standards & practices.
  • Great communication skills – verbal and written.
  • A positive, proactive attitude – someone who's keen to take initiative and learn fast.
