Ovation Hospitality are Hospitality Partners. We provide high quality hospitality services - delivered by high quality hospitality professionals.

We are looking for two passionate chefs, to be based at an Auckland education facility:

One Senior Chef – to work 5 days a week, from 10am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, during school terms only.

One Junior Chef – to work 6am to 1:30pm, Monday to Friday, during school terms only.

Both roles may also need to occasionally work functions on school weekends.

We are looking for team members who are dynamic and creative, but who are also dedicated to creating nutritious and balanced meals for students.

The mission for these roles is to deliver top quality, tasty and consistent food in a timely manner. Both chefs will need to be competently self-sufficient, as they may often be in sole charge.

Your efforts will support the Ovation team to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients - and help us succeed as a business. This will involve:

  • Preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes to a consistently high standard
  • Running three meal services
  • Baking and preparing a wide variety of sweet and savoury items
  • Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality targets
  • The Senior Chef will also assist with menu development and planning, in conjunction with the Operations Manager and our Executive Chef

  • Strong customer service skills
  • The highest standards of food preparation and service
  • Confident in sole charge
  • Strict compliance with all aspects of food, and health and safety, requirements.
