Due to continued growth, key opportunities and ongoing project work, we are currently seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Manager with wide-ranging control systems engineering experience to lead and develop our Electrical & Instrumentation team. With a strong focus on both internal and external clients, you will have excellent communication skills, a passion for fostering a positive and engaging team culture and have a thorough understanding of project delivery.

We are looking for a team leader with a background in electrical and instrumentation projects and engineering. You may be an existing leader, looking to move to an organisation with nationwide resources that is still agile and responsive. You may be a senior control systems engineer looking for your next challenge and a strategic progression into management.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Management, mentorship and growth of Electrical, & Instrumentation team
  • Development of relationships with key clients
  • Development of relationships with key suppliers
  • Managing proposals and estimates
  • Developing innovative, fit-for purpose solutions
  • Identify growth opportunities
  • Project Management of small projects

You will be leading, developing and motivating a dedicated Electrical & Instrumentation team to service our valued clients in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining and Hydrocarbons industries. To be successful, you will bring to the role the following essential skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Member of Engineers New Zealand
  • Excellent communication skills and strong client focus
  • Demonstrated team and leadership skills
  • An attitude to drive innovation through integrated process control solutions
  • Confidence driving project opportunities and developing client and supplier relationships
