As the Sports Marketing Event Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of bringing Red Bull's energy to life through unforgettable events. From planning and executing the National Event Marketing Program to leading the strategic 3rd Party Event Program, you'll play a key role in driving impact and innovation. Take ownership of the Event Vehicle Program and Red Bull infrastructure, ensuring every detail reflects the brand's excellence. PLAN & EXECUTE RED BULL-TITLED AND 3RD PARTY SUPPORTED EVENTS

  • Plan and deliver Red Bull-titled events and initiatives with the National Sports Marketing Manager and wider business functions.
  • Develop innovative event programs based on marketing objectives and local insights.
  • Organise project groups, set common goals, and create execution plans to align stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with brand and media teams to publicize and promote events.
  • Negotiate sponsorships and manage contracts for events.
  • Analyze post-event performance reports to inform future strategies.
  • Build and execute a strategic 3rd Party Events plan aligned with national business priorities.
  • Represent Red Bull professionally and passionately at all events.

MANAGE AND MAINTAIN EVENT VEHICLE PROGRAMS

  • Strategically oversee the Event Vehicle Program and manage the Event Vehicle Driver.
  • Proactively source relevant opportunities that align with national priorities.

MANAGE AND MAIN EVENT INFASTRUCTURE & TOOLS

  • Take a leadership role in managing event tools and infrastructure efficiently.
  • Provide advice on logistics and resources to ensure brand integrity across activations.
  • Conduct regular audits of infrastructure with logistics and warehousing teams.
  • Coordinate repairs or write-offs of damaged infrastructure as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order at national and regional warehousing facilities.

PARTNERSHIPS

  • Contribute to the creation of presentations and commercial partner packages.
  • Facilitate partnerships that achieve the company standard of 20% partnership income.
  • Execute partnership activations seamlessly during events.

PROMOTE HEALTH & SAFETY PRACTICES

  • Ensure spectator and participant safety is prioritized in event planning and execution.
  • Follow insurance, legal, and health and safety obligations.
  • Monitor workplace safety and act responsibly to prevent unsafe situations.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
  • Studies or work experience in sports, events, marketing agencies, sports institutions, or federations.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in event planning and execution.
  • Strong understanding of Red Bull's brand identity and philosophies.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and people management skills.
  • Ability to design, organize, and execute events of all scales.
  • Knowledge of the New Zealand sporting landscape, particularly Red Bull focus sports and mainstream sports.
  • Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and strong attention to detail.
  • Budget management and knowledge of audio-visual equipment.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
  • Must have a clean manual driver's license.
