**About the employer**
Our client is looking for a Sports Marketing Specialist for a 9 months contract in Penrose. They specialize in interior fit-out construction and refurbishment for both public and private sectors. The company embraces fun, fitness and family with the intent to go an extra mile to ensure a great outcome.

**About the Role**
The core purpose of the role is to ensure the positive development of the employer's brand image, through an industry leading sports marketing portfolio of individual athletes and federations. As a Sports Marketing Specialist, you will provide support to the broader brand team in the lead up to campaigns.

**Key Responsibilities will include and not be limited to**:

- Provide ongoing support of New Zealand Sports Marketing and World Cup work streams and projects, including ball kids, match balls and fan festivals
- Provide industry leading service to our asset portfolio on a day-to-day basis including management of distribution of all products to athletes
- Monitor the integration activity of assets into fan festival and brand campaigns
- Provide industry leading service to ‘share of voice’ athletes
- Co-ordinate all product ordering for campaign seeding across categories
- Ensure teams & individuals wear and represent the products according to the marketing plan to communicate our brand as the leading performance brand

**About the Person**
To be successful in this role, you will have a sound understanding of brand marketing and negotiation skills. You should have effective presentation and communicating skills with the ability to analyse a situation and make decisions accordingly. You will be someone who has a keen interest in sports with strong computer and organisational skills.

**Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications**:

- University Degree, preferably in Marketing
- Minimum of 2 years experience in sports marketing or related disciplines
