HCLTech New Zealand is hiring for an SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Syniti Architect for an exciting greenfield project. Work Visa Sponsorship: Available for eligible candidates outside New Zealand

The SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Syniti Architect is responsible for designing and implementing data migration strategies using Syniti tools(ADMM) for SAP S/4HANA transformation projects. This role ensures accurate, efficient, and compliant migration of data from legacy systems to S/4HANA, leveraging Syniti ADMM capabilities.

Location: Auckland, New Zealand

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the data migration architecture and strategy for S/4HANA implementations.

  • Utilize Syniti tools(ADMM) for:

    • Data extraction, profiling, cleansing, transformation, and loading.
    • Data quality checks and governance.

    • Design and implement end-to-end migration workflows, including:

    • Mapping legacy data to S/4HANA structures.

    • Applying transformation rules and validation logic.
    • Collaborate with SAP functional teams to ensure alignment with business processes across modules (FI, MM, SD, PP, etc.).
    • Integrate Syniti with SAP migration tools like LTMC, LTMOM, IDOCs, BODS.
    • Conduct mock migration cycles, cutover planning, and post-migration reconciliation.
    • Provide advisory services on data management best practices and compliance standards.
    • Ensure data security, governance, and regulatory compliance throughout the migration process.
    • Mentor and guide technical teams on Syniti ADMM best practices, methodologies and tools.

Required Skill & Qualifications

  • Experience:

  • 15+ years in SAP data migration projects, with at least 4+ years using Syniti ADMM.

  • Proven experience in S/4HANA migration projects.
  • Expertise in Syniti ADMM platform, SAP Data Services (BODS), and SAP Migration Cockpit.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks.
  • Certifications in SAP Data Migration or Syniti tools.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, and reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of SAP functional areas and data structures.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
