What you'll be doing:

As Senior Consultant - Infrastructure Procurement, you will lead the delivery of high-quality procurement services, deepen client relationships, and support the strategic growth of our procurement business. This role is instrumental in positioning Height as the leading procurement partner in Aotearoa New Zealand and supporting our expanding footprint in Australia.

You will lead across four key areas:

Client Leadership

  • Build strong, trusted-advisor relationships
  • Oversee major procurement projects, evaluations, and documentation
  • Provide commercial guidance and industry insights

Strategy & Growth

  • Identify new client and product opportunities
  • Strengthen Height's market profile
  • Support formal tender responses and key account planning

Delivery Excellence

  • Develop procurement strategies, plans, RFx documents, pricing templates, and business cases
  • Review deliverables, maintain quality standards, and manage project timelines
  • Facilitate workshops, challenge client thinking, and deliver innovative solutions

Team & Capability

  • Mentor and support junior team members
  • Build procurement capability and customer-relationship skills across the team
  • Contribute to business planning, HSEQ, and best-practice improvement
What you'll bring:

  • Experience delivering procurement or commercial advisory services
  • A technical background (engineering, IT, three waters, infrastructure, project management, etc.)

  • Strong client communication, facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
