Are you an organised and proactive Food Technologist looking for a role with variety and purpose? Join our small, collaborative team supporting high-quality food and ingredient supply across New Zealand and Australia.

We're seeking a motivated Food Technologist to provide technical and customer support to our sales and marketing teams. You'll play a key role in maintaining product integrity, compliance, and documentation, and in ensuring our customers receive excellent service and accurate information.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide technical support to the Sales & Marketing team for both local and international products
  • Liaise with customers on new product development, samples, and specifications
  • Maintain product information forms (PIFs) and ensure compliance with NZ and Australian regulatory requirements
  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), recalls, and communication with stakeholders
  • Maintain the sample library and manage sample deliveries and follow-ups
  • Participate in supplier and company audits
  • Support the ongoing development of our food safety programme
  • Contribute to the success of the wider sales team as needed

What we're looking for:

  • Qualification in Food Science or a related field
  • Understanding of food quality systems and regulations (NZ/Australia/export)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy and attention to detail
  • Analytical and service-oriented approach
  • A proactive, "can and will do" attitude and the ability to adapt to change
